Family caregivers are the foundation of long-term care nationwide. It is estimated that more than 65 million people provide care for a chronically ill, disabled, or aged individual and they spend a average of 20 hours per week providing care.
Caregiving is a challenging role that is draining and often underappreciated. Most caregivers must dive in with no training and little support. The Caregiver Academy provides practical education and support one class at a time, so you can be a confident, courageous, empowered caregiver.
